Google officially announced the latest version of Android operating system, 4.3, at its event today.

Samsung start Android 4.1 Jelly Bean updates for Galaxy Ace 2

Samsung has officially announced that the first phase of Jelly Bean update is in progress.

The Android 4.1.2 (build JZO54K) Jelly Bean update for Galaxy Ace 2 comes with the improved notifications, performance, battery life and a new TouchWiz.

The update is currently rolling out in Portugal and is available through Samsung KIES and Over-the-Air (OTA).

Gmail Android app updated: Brings notification shade shortcuts

Google has released a new update for Gmail for Android today earlier today.

This update brings the much awaited notification shade shortcuts to the app on Jelly Bean running devices.

So, if you have phone or tablet running on Android 4.1 or above, you can now reply, archive or delete mails directly from notifications, no need to open the Gmail app.
